Carnaval Jacket

This jacket pays homage to the vibrant Mexican Carnival. With its imaginative costumes, masks, songs, and dances, it celebrates the changing of seasons, the arrival of rain, the growth of plants, and the rebirth of the sun. Hand-embroidered with Carnival-inspired designs like the Devil, the Tecuán Jaguar, the Deer Dance, and the Cuanegro Xantolo Mask, this jacket is truly one-of-a-kind. Some of the drawings were created in collaboration with Daniel Corkidi, adding to its unique charm. The fabric itself is imbued with custom wear, remedies, and idiosyncrasies.
