San Pablito Protection Shirt Tie Dye Pericon (Yellow)
Our San Pablito Protection Shirt is an homage to El Señor Del Monte, a powerful deity from the mountains in Otomi and Mazatec culture. Takes 8 hours to embroider and 2 days to dye. Made from traditional Amate bark paper, used for crafting figures with mystical powers as offerings to the Earth. The Otomis practice reciprocity with the mountains and land, giving tributes and paper cuts in return for prosperity and successful crops. Naturally dyed with cochineal, indigo, or pericón for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind garment. Made through a fully organic process in Mexico, the colors may vary and the garment may fade slightly when washed, enhancing its natural beauty.
